More than 20 Reed Nissan Clermont and Reed Nissan employees, their spouses and children provided and served meals to the clients of the Men’s Service Center as part of a special donor recognition night on March 14 for The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida (CHCF).

Reed Nissan and Reed Nissan Clermont are currently hosting their 2nd annual “Reed Nissan HOPE Project,” a 90-day initiative that began January 1, to help raise awareness for CHCF and the problem of homelessness in Central Florida.

“The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is one of the three primary charities Reed Nissan supports,” said Aaron Hill, general manager of Reed Nissan and Reed Nissan Clermont. “While we support CHCF in a number of ways, only occasionally do we get the opportunity to meet and connect with the clients themselves.”

“Meal Serve Night was a humbling experience for all of us.  Not only were the clients friendly and incredibly grateful for our service, but we were able to see The Coalition’s mission up close. It was a great evening for all of us.”

A longtime supporter of CHCF, Reed Nissan presently donates a portion of sales from each car sold between January 1 and March 31 to the charity and also accepts donations year-round through FriendinReed.com for CHCF, a private, nonprofit organization with a 4-star Charity Navigator rating.

“We think Meal Serve Night will be our newest tradition when it comes to supporting The Coalition and its mission to transform the lives of homeless men, women and children,” said Hill.
